What Are Data Entry Credits?

Our application uses a crowdsourcing system to grow its database with valuable community contributions. Here’s how it works:

Crowdsourced Objects

  • Distiller, Bottler, and Expression are crowdsourced objects.

  • When a user creates one of these objects, the record remains private until it is verified by an administrator.

  • Once verified, the record becomes public and is available to all users of the application.

Incentivizing Data Entry with Credits

To encourage users to contribute high-quality data, we offer data entry credits:

  • 1 data entry credit is awarded when a user's Distiller, Bottler, or Expression record is validated and made public.

  • Subscription Extension: Subscribed users who accumulate 10 data entry credits receive a 1-month subscription extension.

  • Unsubscribed Users: Can continue accruing data entry credits but can only redeem them after subscribing to a usage plan.

Non-Crowdsourced Objects

  • Bottle and Tasting are personal objects and are not shared with other users. These are private to the user who created them.

This system ensures the database grows collaboratively while rewarding users for their valuable contributions!
